摘　　要：原发性老年肌肉衰减综合征是随年龄增加出现的渐进性肌肉量减少,肌力减弱和身体活动能力衰退的状态,是失能、半失能,疾病发生、恶化乃至死亡的主要高危因素之一。全身性炎症水平亢进,生长激素信号系统衰减以及激素水平的下降是本征发生的主要机制。此外,肌肉卫星细胞的数量减少和功能减弱,多种细胞内信号通路以及细胞内泛素蛋白酶系统也参与本征的发生。其形成机制的阐明和防治方法的开发成为老年医学领域中重要课题之一。Sareopenia is defined as the loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength with age. Sarcopenia can potentially lead to a multitude of adverse consequences such as disability and morbidity. Elevated inflammatory cytokines ,growth hormone signal attenuation and a decline in hormones are major risk factors for sarcopenia. Furthermore, loss in function and number of muscle satellite cells are another mechanism. Multiple signaling pathways, the ubiquitin-proteasome system are also related to the development of sareopenia. Therefore, clarifying the pathogenesis and developing the prevention and treatment is one of the important topics in the field of Gerontology.
