零翻译历时与共时的社会学考察

摘　　要：从历时和共时语境的社会学视角分析零翻译,透析其特点和本质。历时语境下的零翻译研究表明:零翻译是许多语言形成、发展的重要因素;汉语中的零翻译表现形式复杂,具有独特性。共时语境下的零翻译分大众和专业言语社区来探讨:大众言语社区零翻译带有鲜明的时代特色;专业言语社区零翻译是专业内交流的便捷途径;少量专业言语社区零翻译扩散至大众言语社区。零翻译印证了从原语完全转化为译语的有限性,具有简洁、便利、国际化、不稳定的特点和跨语境思维桥梁作用的本质特征。Based on the diachronic and synchronic contexts, this article analyzes zero translation from the socio- logical perspective, and tries to explore its characteristics and essence. According to the diachronic study of zero translation, zero translation plays important roles in the formation and development of many languages; zero translation in Chinese is unique and complex. The discussions in the synchronic context are divided into public and professional speech communities ： the former is endowed with distinct features of the times, whereas the lat- ter is the convenient way of communication in the communities; a small number of zero translations spread from the professional to the public speech communities. Zero translation proves the limitation of translation from the source language to the target language. It carries the essence of a thought bridge that is across language bounda- ries, as well as concise, convenient, internationalized and unstable characteristics.
