摘　　要：环境工程原理课程是环境工程专业的一门专业基础课程。应对当前教育改革的要求,就要求我们对过去的教育理念和教学方法进行改进,研究新的教学方法,使学生能够探索新的规律和发现新的知识。新时期应用型人才培养要求地方本科院校培养应用技术和实践人才,培养符合地方发展的各类工程师人才。结合环境工程专业的特点,我们在对环境工程课程的教学改革中,实行以工程案例和问题导向相结合的教学方法,提高了学生解决实际问题的能力。Principle of Environmental Engineering is a basic course of environmental engineering. The past educational idea and teaching method should be reformed in response of the current need of education reforming, which make the student find and explore the new law and knowledge. According to the requirement of new period of applied talents, local college should train the application and practice of talent and the local development of various kinds of engineers. Considering of environmental engineering characteristics, the course in teaching was reformed by means of a combination of engineering example and problem oriented. Practice proved that these aspects in teaching reform improved the ability of student to solve problems.
