摘 要:研究鲁迅《中国小说史略》的产生过程,不难发现:鲁迅不仅描述了中国古代小说发展的历史,而且通过构建小说史,实现了文化批判和"学问根柢"重建的目的。"全本"《中国小说史略》应该是学术专著和课堂教学两种存在形态的统一。从"教学版"到"学术版"的变迁,《中国小说史略》通过小说类型命名和增删等将现代意义的"小说""历史化"和"自然化"了。鲁迅重写小说史不仅在于大学教育体制内作知识的更新,而且重新反思小说教育的功能。A study on the process of the creation of A Brief History of Chinese Novels will find that Lu Xun not only gives an account of the history of the development of ancient Chinese novels,but has also realized the goal of cultural criticism and the establishing of the "academic foundation"by constructing this history. The"whole version"of this work should be a unity of academic research and classroom teaching. In the transfer from the "classroom version"to the "academic version",this work by Lu Xun has historicalized and naturalized the modern concept of "novel"by naming and revise the categories of "xiao shuo". Lu Xun’s re-writing of the history of "xiao shuo"is not only significant in updating the knowledge in college educational institutions,but also enlightening in reflection of the function of novel education.
