双关语语境关系的顺应性研究

摘　　要：Verschueren提出的顺应理论认为,语言的使用是一个受语言的多重内外部成分影响、在不同的意识程度下不断作出语言选择的过程。顺应性是语言的重要特性,使用者作出顺应的目的是为了取得交际的成功。通过理论探讨和举例分析,发现双关语的广泛应用是交际者为了顺应语境(包括精神世界、社交世界和物理世界)而作出的语言选择的结果。In the theory of linguistic adaptation, Verschueren holds the opinion that language using is a process of constant choosing, influenced by various inner or outer elements as well as different consciousness degree Adaptability is regarded an important feature of language. Language users appreciate it a lot because it is helpful to achieve communicative purposes. This paper detects that the widely -used puns are the result of choosing for the language users to adapt the contexts, including mental .social and physical world.
