摘　　要：从2011年始,三峡船闸通航能力不足已制约到长江水运跨地区运输,如何提升长江沿线通道运能成为关注热点,建立多方式线路运输通道是必然的解决路径。本文从运输需求、运输能力、建设技术、成本和建设周期五个方面研究,提出了建设沿长江重载铁路作为解决方案,尽快提升沿江综合运输通道运能的建议。Since 2011, navigation capacity shortage of the Three Gorges ship lock has restricted cross-regional transportation of the Yangtze River freight transportation. How to improve the channel capacity along the Yangtze River become the focus of attention, and it is necessary to build heavy haul railway to enhance the capacity of comprehensive transportation corridor along the Yangtze River as soon as possible. This paper gives an analysis from five aspects, including transportation demand, capacity, technology and construction cycle, and puts forward the proposal of constructing heavy haul railway along the Yangtze River
