摘　　要：重症医学伴随现代医学的发展而诞生,是主要研究危重疾病的发生、发展规律及其治疗方法的学科。笔者简要回顾重症医学的起源、发展历程及目前的发展概况,并对其未来发展进行展望。成就与挑战并存,只有不断更新知识,保持先进的理念,才能跟进重症医学的发展。Critical care medicine was born with the development of modern medicine, which mainly study the occurrence, rules of development and therapeutic method of critical diseases. The author briefly reviewed the origin, development process of critical care medicine and its status quo, and then prospected on its future. With the coexistence of achievements and challenges, only if up- dates knowledge constantly and maintains advanced concepts, can we keep pace with the development of critical care medicine.
