评价理论视角下的语码转换研究

摘　　要：通过对语码转换研究的梳理,总结出权利、义务、心理等因素能够影响语码的选择,进而影响作者或说话人的态度、立场以及交流的效果与进程。从这个意义上讲,语码转换是具有人际功能的。而评价理论是对Halliday的人际功能的横向和纵向的延伸。本文将借用这一理论来分析作者或说话人在语码转换中的态度和立场,一方面,旨在为语码转换研究提供新思路,另一方面,通过分析语码中的那些评价资源,来揭示语码转换是怎样实现人际功能的,从而进一步拓展和加深对语码转换的研究。This paper surveys the researches on code-switching and finds that power, obligation and psychology can exert an important influence on the choice of codes. Thus, they will affect the writers/speakers’ attitude, stance and their communication. In this sense, code-switching carries on interpersonal function. Appraisal Theory is considered the further development of Halliday’s interpersonal function. The author tries to employ Appraisal Theory as a new theoretical framework to analyze the underlying attitudes and stances behind those appraisal resources in code-switching and reveal how code-switching fulfills its personal function.
