摘　　要：本文尝试从民间舆论的角度,以清末上海的民间团体——尚贤堂演说会作为个案研究,分析演说会的内容、传播者和传播范围,力图多层面地探讨由传教士、绅商等主导的民间舆论在清末新政中所持的立场和扮演的角色,以期为晚清政治及基督教在华传教士参与中国近代社会的改造提供新的观察视角。This paper tries to study Shang Xian Tang the folk society from the perspective of public opinions. By analyzing the content,transmitter and scope. The paper attempts to discuss the position,speeches and social influence of folk's opinions dominated by missionaries,scholars and gentle merchants,which offers a new perspective to the study of political history of late Qing dynasty and the missionary history of Christianity in China.
