摘 要:在文学中,汽车不仅是一种交通工具,更是作为符号与隐喻而存在,形成了一种汽车意识形态。主要表现在三个方面:其一是汽车所代表的现代文明对自然的损害,及对传统手工文明、手工职业的冲击。其二,即是汽车所代表的社会等级与殖民罪恶;其三,作为现代性精美的器具,一种通向无限美好流动多彩生活之途径的工具,作为现代浪漫、摩登生活的象征而存在,并在某种程度上暗含了性的隐喻。In literature, the automobile is not only a tool of transportation but also a symbol and metaphor, thus having led to an auto ideology. Such functions of the auto are manifest in three aspects : firstly, the damage of modern civilization represented by the auto to nature as well as its impact on the traditional handicraft civilization and handicraft profession; secondly, the social scale and colonization crimes represented by the auto; and thirdly, the auto can be utilized as a wonderful tool of modernity, an instrument to secure the indefinitely happy, fluid and colorful life as well as a symbol of modern romantic and fashionable life, which somewhat implies sex metaphorically.
