摘　　要：英格兰王室的庇佑使初创的牛津大学逐渐发展壮大。金雀花王朝、兰开斯特王朝以及约克王朝都对牛津大学大力扶持。然而,宗教改革以后,都铎王朝通过巡视对牛津大学进行监管,破坏了大学的"自治"传统。本文旨在解析双方关系演变的过程,使读者了解牛津大学的早期发展史。Protection and support from the English Kings made the renascent Oxford University developed and strengthened. All the Kings from Plantagenet, Lancaster and York Dynasties contributed a lot to the University, whereas the Tudor kings began to inspect it through paying visitations, which broke the tradition of Autonomy. The paper aims to outline this process and demonstrate the early history of the University.
