摘 要:在日本学术思想史上,有诸多关于国家主体的论争,其中一个重要论辩主题就是"夷夏之辨"(即"华夷之辨")。日本德川时代的一些学者对"夷夏"问题十分敏感,其中古学派的山鹿素行意图否定"中华"或"中国"之称专属汉土,认为日本亦是"中华",即为"中国"。其著作《中朝事实》1是一本典型的相关"日本型华夷思想"的著作。在该书中素行欲从"皇统论、水土论、武威论"等角度证明日本乃高于"外朝"中国的文明之国。但素行并非完全否认传统儒家价值观下的华夷观念,从这点上来讲,《中朝事实》中似乎有着两种华夷观念的交融。本文试通过这种观念交融来探究《中朝事实》的特色,并揭示素行在解读中国式华夷思想时所产生的思想谬误。Yi-Xia distinction,also known as Hua-Yi distinction or Sino- barbarian dichotomy, is an important topic in the debate of nationhoodin Japanese academic history. Some scholars in Tokugawa period were very sensitive to the "Yi-Xia" issue. Yamaga Sokou, a great intellectual in Japanese medieval group, strongly opposed the use of "Zhonghua" or "Zhongguo" as a designated name for Han's territory. His idea can be fully certified by his famous book Chucho Jijitsu ( Actual Facts about the Central Realm), which is a typical work relevant to the "Hua- Yi Thought" in Japan. In his book, he advocates that Japan is a great civilization superior to other countries in the world and tries to prove it from the perspectives of imperial reign, nature's preference and military power. Meanwhile, he does not deny Confucius' "Hua-Yi Thought" in his book. Actually, two academic thoughts interact with each other in the book. This thesis tries to explore the unique features of Chucho Jijitsu and reveals how Sokou explains Chinese Hua-Yi thoughts on Japanese behalf.
