摘　　要：概率论与数理统计作为大学一门重要的基础课程,知识抽象不易理解,同时计算量较大。利用Matlab强大的数值计算和可视化能力,有助于在有限的学时内更好地讲清概率统计的概念和应用。本文简介了通过MATLAB解决概率统计一些常见问题的方法,展示了Matlab在教学过程中的作用,并通过一个在信号处理前沿领域的综合应用表明了概率统计理论和Matlab结合的强大效果。As an important basic course of university, probability and mathematical statistics is abstract and diffieuh to under^tand. Meanwhile, a large amount of calculation is often operated. It is very helpful to elaborate the concept and applications in limited time by making use of the powerful computing and visual capaci- ty of Matlab. In this paper, some methods are introduced to solve common problems of probability and mathematical statistics by means of Matlab. Finally, a synthetic application on signal pro- cessing shows the strong effect of Matlab and probability theory ＆ mathematical statistics.
