摘　　要：科学的评估可以促进教与学。英语是一种交际工具,因而学生的英语应用能力的考评尤有必要。本文通过分析目前我国高职学生英语能力教学评价体制的不足,提出高职学生英语能力之立体化考核评价体系,并在教学实践中进行实验运用。Scientific assessment can promote teaching as well as learning. It＇s essential to evaluate students＇ English competence as English is a communicative tool. This research tries to probe into assessment of English competence of college students. Through the statistical analysis of the problems of current assessment, a more scientific, objective and all -round value system is put forward which is tested by an experiment.
