摘　　要：苏宝荣教授的文字学研究集中体现为对《说文解字》的注释与研究,对汉字形义关系多方位、多角度的研究,对汉字造字法与用字法的研究。其治学特点表现为注重研究课题的选择,关注学术研究的热点问题、核心问题;注重研究成果的实际价值,理论与实用密切结合;注重研究方法的科学运用,强调动态地、辩证地、融通地考虑问题。Professor Su Baorong＇s philological research is concentrated on the annotation and the study of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,the study of relationship between the form of Chinese characters and their meanings from many angles,the study of the building methods and the using methods of Chinese characters. His study features are embodied by the emphasis on the selection of research subjects,the focus on hot issues,core issues,the practical value of the research subject,the close combination of theories and practices,the scientific application of research methods and the dynamic,dialectical and flexible solution to research questions.
