《远大前程》中朴凯特原型解读

摘　　要：作为伟大的现实主义作家,狄更斯将许多现实中的人物塑造为其小说的人物。但在其众多作品中,读者很难找到与他生活了二十多年的妻子的映像。文章从人物的相似性,成书时间以及家庭背景等角度对他的作品《远大前程》中的朴凯特夫人进行了细致分析,得出朴凯特夫人就是狄更斯夫人的原型。朴凯特夫人在整个小说中无论是与情节还是与主题都没有太大关系,但作者却用大量的篇幅来嘲弄这个穿插于小说中的笑料人物,其用意可想而知是对妻子凯瑟琳的公开中伤和对其家族的强烈不满。As a great realistic writer,Dickens tends to transform the people in the real world into his characters in his novels. Few people,however,can find out the image of his wife in his novels. The thesis,from the aspects of the similarity of the characters,the time of publication,and the family background,aims to conclude that Mrs. Pocket in his novel Great Expectations is the prototype of his wife. Moreover,Dickens uses a lot of passages to make a fool of Mrs. Pocket,the insignificant character who has not any relation with the subject of the novel,to throw his resent to his wife and her family.
