摘  要:2012年中国大学本科红牌专业(高失业风险型专业)中,英语赫然在列。这与"英语热"的持续发酵,及其在世界经济一体化进程中广阔的市场需求形成了强烈反差,英语专业正面临着合法性考量,专业危机已经来临。在这场危机中,地方院校的英语专业更是首当其冲。地方院校英语专业危机的症候是其人才培养的同质化,人才规格不符合时代要求及工具理性的极度张扬。可通过项目化课程建设促应用型人才培养,以地方就业市场为引领,定位英语专业人才培养目标,进而突破专业的局限,实现专业之间的复合与交叉,同时以"和合"哲学统驭技能课程与人文课程之平衡,实现学科发展与市场对接的协调,来消解地方院校英语专业当下的危机。English Major is one of the so-called "red-card" majors (high-risk of unemployment) in Chinese universities in 2012. This situation forms a sharp contrast with the continuous "English fever" and the broad market demand in the process of economic integration in the world. English major is facing legal considerations and its professional crisis has come. In this crisis, English major in local colleges and universities is the first to bear the brunt. The symptom of the crisis of English major in local colleges and universities is the homogeneity of talents cultivation, and the talents are not in conformity with the requirements of the times and the extreme publicity of the instrumental rationality. We should promote the cultivation of applied talents through curriculum construction project, and take the local job market as the leading position to locate the talents cultivation objectives, and then break through the limitation of the specialty to realize the recombination and overlapping between the specialties. Meanwhile, we also should use the "harmony" philosophy to realize the balance between skills courses and humanities courses, and to achieve the coordination of discipline development and market, and to solve the crisis for English Majors in local colleges.
