摘 要:采用文献考证与对比分析的方法,考察了日本数学书横排的历史源头、推广过程及其对日本和中国的影响。日本数学书横排始于1879年日本著名数学家中川将行和荒川重平合著的《几何问题解式》,于19世纪末20世纪初最终完成。日本数学书横排的完成反映了日本学者在引进西方数学过程中突破传统、锐意进取的集体智慧,不仅为日本数学的发展提供了方便,也影响了晚清数学教科书的编排工作。By applying the methods of literature research and comparative analysis, this gin and dissemination of the horizontal writing mode on mathematical books in Japan as both Japan and China. The horizontal writing mode on math books in Japan originated paper explores the ori- well as its influence on from Solutions to Geo- metric Problems collaborated by Nakagawa Masayuki and Arakawa Jyuhe in 1897, and the process completed in the late 19th century and the early 20th century under the promotion of Nagasawa Kamenosuke, Kikuti Dai- roku and many other mathematicians. This reflects the collective wisdoms of Japanese scholars who dared to break traditions and forge ahead when introducing westem mathematics. Not only did it provide convenience for the development of Japanese mathematics, but it also influenced the compiling of Chinese math textbooks in the late Qing Dynasty.
