摘　　要：本文从宏观角度探讨概念隐喻认知语言学意义理论对外语教学的意义。文章从概念隐喻认知语言学意义理论的理论特征,对外语教学的意义,该理论在语言教学实践运用中存在的具体问题,及怎样应用这些意义理论指导外语教学实践等几个层面,对概念隐喻认知语言学意义理论对外语教学的意义进行了讨论。From a broader perspective, this paper presents implications of cognitive theories of conceptual metaphor for foreign language teaching. It focuses particularly on the characteristics of the semantic theories of conceptual metaphor, including their impact on foreign language teaching, problems that exist in the application of the theories in foreign language teaching and learning, and the ways to put the theories into practice.
