海明威《大双心河》中概念隐喻的分析

摘　　要：依据莱考夫与强生、莱考夫与特纳以及Kecses对英语中常规隐喻的研究,分析海明威短篇小说《大双心河》中的概念隐喻,认为其简洁、平实的语言中具有高度隐喻性。海明威创造性地使用了常规隐喻,在简洁的话语中表达出了深刻的意义。This study aims to investigate Hemingway＇ s use of metaphors in his short story ＂Big Two-Hearted River＂ within the theoretical framework of conceptual metaphors proposed in Lakoff and Johnson （1980） and Lakoff and Turner （1989） and Kovecses （2002）. The analysis shows that simple words and plain languag den beneath the surface. These metaphors suggest Nick＇ s adverse impact to preserve dignity and grace in fighting against mental illness. e convey metaphoric meanings so much that are hid- and pressure caused by war and his tough guy spirits to preserve dignity and grace in fighting against mental illness.
