Objective: To discuss the expressions of Survivin and OPN in the tissues of chronic cervitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical squamous carcinoma. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was applied to detect the expressions of Survivin and OPN in 10 cases of chronic cervicitis, 20 cases of CIN and 50 cases of cervical cancer. Results: The expression positive rate of Survivin and OPN in chronic cervicitis, CIN Ⅲ, cervical squamous carcinomas increased with the lesion severity level enhancement, three groups of comparative differences are statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). The expression positive rate of Survivin in cervical squamous carcinomas was associated with clinical stages and pathologic stage (P 〈 0.05), but has nothing to do with age and lymph nodes metastasis (P〉0.05). The expression positive rate of OPN in cervical squamous carcinomas was associated with clinical stages and lymph node metastasis (P 〈 0.05), but has nothing to do with age and pathologic stage (P 〉 0.05). Conclusion: The joint detection of Survivin and OPN may serve as the index for early diagnosis, condition monitoring and prognosis judgment of cervical squamous carcinomas.
