摘　　要：伊塔洛·卡尔维诺的作品以生动的形式展现了人类从现代走向后现代的精神历程。在他的小说中,城市既是重要的元素和组成部分,也承载了作家的精神旨归。卡尔维诺对城市以及居住于城市中的人的描绘,在思想上为新的文学批评范式提供了重要的依据。卡尔维诺的作品是对后现代哲学思想的一次生动阐述,他作品中的城市意象包涵了丰富的建设性后现代生态思想。Italo Calvin＇ s works lively shows the spirit course of human from modem to post - modem. In his novel, city is not only the important components and elements, but also carries the writer＇ s spiritual orientation. Calvino＇ s depiction of cities and people who live in the city, provides an important basis for the new literary criti- cism paradigm in thought. The works of Calvino vividly elaborate the postmodem philosophical thought, and city image is full of constructive postmodern ecological thought.
