摘　　要：为了提高教师业务水平和教学能力,本文对国内外大学教师发展的历史进程及现状进行了梳理和分析,借鉴其经验和优势,引导大学建立具有特色的教师发展中心.大学教师发展应当重视4个方面的内容：理念先行,重视教师的自主发展;制度保障,建立健全多层次的组织机构;形式多样,全面提高教师教学和科研能力;深入推进,建立完整科学的教师评价激励体系.In order to promote teacher＇ s professional skill and teaching ability,in this paper,combing and analyzing the faculty development history and present situation in domestic and foreign colleges and universities,learning from their experience and advantage,guide the colleges and universities to set up characteristic of faculty development center.Suggesting that faculty development should pay attention to four aspects：concept first,pay more attention to teachers＇ individual development;institutional assurance,establish the multi-level organization;a various of forms,improve the ability of teaching and scientific research;carry out in a deep-going way,set up a complete scientific teacher evaluation promotion system.
