环氧化聚乙烯醇改性PAE湿增强剂的合成及作用机理

摘　　要：通过环氧化聚乙烯醇(PVA)对聚酰胺多胺环氧氯丙烷(PAE)湿增强剂进行改性,探讨了改性方式、改性剂的用量、改性树脂用量对纸张增强性能的影响。研究表明:PVA可以对PAE进行化学改性和物理改性,且化学改性优于物理改性。红外光谱图表明化学改性可以使PVA环氧化。GPC测定改性后的PAE树脂相对分子质量(简称分子量)为13508。SEM扫描电镜图显示,添加经环氧化PVA改性树脂的纸张,纤维间结合更紧密。当改性剂质量分数为16%,改性树脂添加量1%,与改性前相比,经环氧化PVA改性后的PAE树脂干增强指数提高了23.42%,湿增强指数提高了73.78%,耐折次数提高了201.10%,撕裂度提高了22.85%,耐破度提高了288.70%。Polyamide-polyamine epichlorhgdrin resin（ PAE） wet strength agent was modified with poly（ vinyl-alcohol） with epoxy group,and the effects of the dosage of modifier and the amount of modified resin on its paper strengthening properties were discussed. The results show that PVA could conduct chemical and physical modification reaction of PAE wet strength agent,while the chemical modification reaction was the better process. What is more,PVA could be epoxided using chemical modification by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（ FTIR）,and the molecular weight of the modified PAE resin was 13508 by GPC. The scanning electron microscopy（ SEM） photographs show that the binding force of paper fibers were enhanced significantly by modified PAE resin. The desired conditions for a better strength of paper are as follows： the mass fraction of modifier was 16%,and the dosage of modified PAE resin was 1%. Compared with traditional agents,the modified PAE wet strength agent could further improve the paper dry tensile index by 23. 42%,wet tensile index by 73. 78%.Meanwhile,the folding resistance degree increased by 201. 10%,the tearing index increased by22. 85%,and the burst index increased by 288. 70%.
