论译本注释在阅读认知中的价值和作用——以艾伦·坡的两个短篇小说为例

摘　　要：注释是译本最重要的附件和镜子,它所解说的内容都是原作的深刻内涵所在,是原作丰富内容的必要拓展。通过对于爱伦·坡短篇小说的两种译本注释进行对比,其详细的解析显示:内容不充分的注释会弱化原作的价值,弱化译文的权威性,并妨碍读者对文本的阅读和认知。而周到细致的注释,不仅能反映译者对于译本的重大贡献、提升译作的权威性、有助读者的认知和理解,而且注释本身也具有资料价值、文献价值和考据价值。Footnotes are the most important attachments and mirrors of a piece of translation; the interpretations given by the translator can show the profound meanings of the work and the necessary expansion of the annotations. By contrasting the footnotes of the two versions of Poe＇s short stories, the author reached such a conclusion： inadequate notes will weaken the value and the authority of the work, and fail to help readers＇ reading and cognition. But thoughtful and meticulous notes can reflect the translator＇s contribution to the text, enhance the authority of the version, and help readers＇ awareness and understanding. Furthermore, the annotations are valuable in data, documents and textual researches, too.
