摘　　要：基于Carroll、Grigorenko和Robinson等人对外语学习能力的研究,我们利用统计学方法对同一批学生的高中英语成绩及其大学英语成绩进行了建模分析。分析的结果表明外语学习能力并不是一成不变的,或是先天性的,而是一个发展变化的过程。这一结果表明教学环境及教学策略的改变会影响学生的外语学习能力,同时为外语教师系统了解外语学习规律提供了理论和实证依据。Mainly based on the study on foreign language learning ability by Carroll, Grigorenko and Robinson＇s, we designed a modeling analysis on English performances of high school English and college English with the same group of students. Analysis results show that the ability of learning foreign language is not set in stone, or congenital, but a process of development and changes. The resuits show that the change of teaching environment and teaching strategies will affect the students＇ ability in foreign language learning, and provide a theoretical and empirical basis for the understanding on rules of foreign language learning.
