摘 要:随着全球化及英语作为世界通用语地位的建立,传统的二语动机领域的很多概念,如融合型动机等,正在失去它们的解释力。文章着重论述"二语动机自我系统"这一当前二语动机研究的新视角。"二语动机自我系统"由理想二语自我、应该二语自我和二语学习经验三个层面组成。该理论强调了学习者作为个体的独特性,同时也体现了二语动机的动态过程。文章最后给出了一些教学方面的启示。With globalization and English becoming a lingua franea, traditional concepts in the second language (L2) motivation field such as integrative motivation are losing their explanatory power. This paper examines how L2 motivation is currently re - con- ceptualized in terms of a new - established theory -- L2 motivational self system, which provides the understanding of L2 motivation from three domains, namely ideal L2 self, ought - to L2 self and L2 learning experience. This theory exhibits the new tendency of regarding L2 learners as "unique individuals" and viewing motivation as a dynamic process. The paper ends with some pedagogical implications.
