后现代主义思潮与翻译研究——兼评韦努蒂阐释型翻译思想

摘　　要：在后现代主义思潮影响下,翻译的形上之思日益凸显,理论与实践的差距也似乎越来越大,成为学界关注和争论的焦点。本文梳理后现代思潮与翻译研究之间的关系,并在这一视野下考察韦努蒂阐释型翻译的内涵与实质,揭示翻译理论与译者实践之间的关系。研究表明,与传统翻译研究和语言学翻译理论相比,后现代视域下的翻译理论更注重实践中的各种影响因素,能够为译者实践提供指导、阐释和预测。而韦努蒂阐释型翻译的提出则显示了翻译研究后现代视野的拓展,为译者的实践活动提出了现实关照。Post-modernism has imposed great effect on translation studies in recent years, which is speculated as contributing to the widening of the gap between theory and practice. The paper probes into the relationship between post-modernism and translation studies and delves into the hermeneutic model of translation proposed by Venuti, with an aim to reveal the relation- ship between theory and practice. As it turns out, compared with the traditional and linguistic translation theories, the perspective of post-modernism takes into account the social and cultural factors related to translation practice and translators＇ involvement. And the hermeneutic model of translation, embodied in the post-modernist perspective, gives enlightenment to translators＇ activities.
