摘　　要：M257是平顶山应国墓地的1座小型贵族墓。该墓葬形制为长方形竖穴土坑墓,葬具为木质单棺单椁,随葬器物分别放置在棺椁之间与棺内两处。随葬器物共计115件(片),包括礼器、兵器、车器、马器、生活器皿、礼玉、殓玉等。M257墓主人应是一位身份为士一级的贵族,是应侯家族内的一位成员。M257的发掘为研究应国历史与西周时期中低级贵族的丧葬礼制,乃至诸侯国之间的政治联姻提供了实物资料。Tomb M257 is a small-sized aristocratic grave in the Ying State cemetery in Pingdingshan City. It is a rectangular earthen pit furnished with a double wooden coffin and contains funeral objects in the outer and inner parts of the coffin. The unearthed artifacts total 11.5 pieces/fragments, including ritual articles, weapons, horse and chariot trappings, utensils, ritual jades and funeral jades. Tomb-owner was a member of the Ying Marquis family that belonged to the lowest aristocracy. The excavation provided material data tbr reseawhing on the history of die Ying State, the burial institution of the middle and lower aristocracy in the Western Zhou Period and the marriage with political color among the then vassal states.
