摘　　要：培养水利特色复合型外语人才是新形势下中国水利事业国际交流与合作发展深化的需要,符合水利教育和外语教育的发展趋势。我们应该在明确水利特色复合型外语人才的培养目标、培养模式和就业去向的基础上,努力推动相关工作的进展,以为我国水利行业培养更多高素质、应用型、复合型外语人才。We should train more English majors with mixed abilities featuring in water resources, to meet the need of international co--operation in water affairs, and the requirement of water resource education and foreign language education. It is necessary to clarify the training objective, training mode, employment situation of English majors with mixed abilities featuring in water resources, to promote the development of relevant exploration, and to train more high--qualified, practice--fo- cused, and mix abilities obtained human resources for water affairs.
