河南翻译人才需求调研及其对省内高校MTI教育的启示

摘　　要：随着社会经济的不断发展,市场对于翻译人才的需求也变得更加旺盛,然而高校翻译人才的培养工作则相对落后,定位于高层次实用人才培养的翻译硕士教育也不能完全的契合市场需求。本文对河南省内翻译人才的社会需求状况进行了调研,结果显示该省的翻译人才数量存在较大缺口,而且人才质量也亟待提高。针对这些问题,文章结合当代翻译教学理论的研究成果,在深入分析此次调研数据的基础上,对高校MTI教育培养体制改革方法提出了四个方面的建议。本文的研究工作对建立以市场需求为导向的高校MTI培养体制有较好的借鉴意义。Alongside the rapid development of social economy, the need for talents in translation and interpreting is also in- creasing. However, it is a pity that the cultivation of translation talents in colleges and universities cannot meet the need of the growing market, and the MTI program also failed in this respect. This paper analyzes the current situation of Henan translation industries and it turns out that there is a dire need of improvement both in the quantity and quality of translators in Henan prov- ince. In solving these problems, this paper provides four reasonable suggestions for the development and reform of the MTI program in Henan based on the existing data and the achievements of contemporary translation education theories, so as to shed some light on a new research direction concerning the amelioration of market - based MTI training.
