摘　　要：伴随着经济文化水平的飞速发展,国际之间的交流与合作日益加深,而英语作为全球通用的一门语言,其在课堂教学中的重要性不言而喻。如今多媒体网络在教学中被广泛应用,如何更好地利用网络进行教学是各大教育部门关注的热点。本文就是根据在网络环境下民办高校大学英语教育中出现的问题提出一些应对措施,阐明在此环境下大学英语教学改革的必要性。With the rapid development of economic and cultural level, the international exchanges and cooperation have increasingly deepened. As a universal language, the importance of English in the classroom teaching is self -evident. Nowadays, multimedia network teaching has been widely used, and how to make better use of network teaching is the major hot spot the ed- ucation sector that should pay attention to. This paper is to put forward some countermeasures according to the English education in private higher colleges under the network environment and expounds the necessity of English teaching reform under this environment.
