摘 要:2014年笔者在澳大利亚悉尼大学访问研究时受教于悉尼大学中国研究系主任赵晓寰教授,期间进行了数次访谈。本文的对话部分即在访谈录音及多次邮件往来的基础上整理而成。赵教授有着良好的语言学和中外文学背景,除了用结构主义等方法对中国古典小说和戏剧的分析研究外,他亦关注宗教、法律、民俗与通俗文学的关系。近年来他着重考察中国戏剧的起源问题,在参照剑桥神话-仪式学派等观点的基础上,结合大量的戏剧文物和现存的演出活动,用"连续体、仪式剧、神庙剧/场"等概念重新阐释了中国戏剧的起源和嬗变。笔者希望借助这个访谈,给国内学界就此问题的探讨提供一些参考。Professor Zhao Xiaohuan is the director of Chinese Research Department of the University of Sydney. Dialogues in the paper are based on tape records of interviews and email communication with Professor Zhao in 2014. With good background in linguistics and literature,Professor Zhao researches on ancient Chinese classic novels and dramas by morphological analysis and also studies the relation between religion,law,folk culture and vernacular literature.With his focus on the origin of Chinese drama in recent years,Professor Zhao gives a new explanation of the origin and evolution of Chinese drama by the concepts of continuum,ritual drama and temple theatre,referring to western academic viewpoints such as 'mythologism and ritualism'and a large number of drama culture relics and performances. It is hoped that this interviews could provide thoughts for study on the origin and evolution of Chinese drama in China's Mainland.
