学院文化的庄肃典雅:论1930年代北平学院文化对京派散文的影响

摘　　要：京派散文的生成和发展离不开北平地域及其学院文化的深厚滋养和氤氲。五四新文化的积淀和北平文化的蓄积形成北平古都文化的厚重静穆的地域文化特质,这从空间地域层面影响着京派散文家。但是,更为重要的是,20世纪30年代北京众多学府蕴蓄的学院文化为京派散文的形成准备了充分的学养条件。首先,奉行"门户开放"和"学术自由"的北大文风、大学数量的众多、几乎免费的大学教育和学院中师友互助的传统,这些是北平学院吸引京派学子的种种条件。其次,京派散文家与学院或深或浅的"学院"渊源;教师自身素养、课程设置、重视作文训练等学院因素对京派散文家的影响,在这些条件的作用下散文创作在学院中蔚然成风;第三,老师与学生的文化资源互动形成了北平学院优良的文化生态系统。以上三点都为学生创作散文提供了良好的动力机制。这些共同构成了30年代北平庄肃典雅的学院文化。可以说,30年代庄肃典雅的学院文化为引导京派学子们的研究方向和创作趣味、发掘提携散文新秀、为新晋散文作家修改和举荐文章提供了良好的文化氛围,为京派散文的生成和发展奠定了纯正的"学院派"基础。The emergence and development of the prose of Beiping School was closely related to the geographical location of Beiping and its rich college culture.The inheritance of the new culture of the May 4th Movement and the cultural tradition of Beiping helped produce the magnificent and elegant culture of Beiping as an ancient capital city with typical local features,from which the prose writers of Beiping School got their inspiration.The more important was that the rich college culture of Beiping in the 1 930s provided adequate academic conditions for the formation of this school of prose writers. Firstly,there were quite a few universities in Beiping that offered free education and followed the tra-dition of mutual help,academic freedom and openmindedness with Peking University as the head;secondly,nearly all the prose writers of Beiping School had a certain kind of connection with a univer-sity in Beiping whose quality-training orientation and curriculums promoted the prose-writing skills;thirdly,the good interaction between students and teachers in these universities helped form a fine system of cultural ecology.The above-mentioned three aspects combined to form a good motive mech-anism for the students’prose-writing and the magnificent and elegant college culture in Beiping in the 1 930s.Thus,this kind of college culture guided the students of Beiping in a correct way in their re-search and creation,offered a favorable atmosphere for the training of new prose writers,and laid a solid foundation for the emergence and development of the “college-school”of Beiping prose-writers.
