摘　　要：桐城派散文大师姚鼐,将文学风格高度概括为阳刚、阴柔两大基本范畴,第一次明确而系统地阐述了阳刚阴柔的文学风格论。学界对这一理论的相关论述很多,但鲜见对姚鼐为何以"阳刚阴柔"来概括文学风格这一问题的论述,笔者试图对这一问题予以探究。YAO Nai, the prose master of Tongcheng School, who summarized the literary style as two basic categories： masculine and feminine, is the first one to illustrate this literary theory clearly and systematically. There are plenty of discussions on this theory in literary field, but lack of the analysis of the reason for his summary of the literary style. Thus, this thesis will focus on an in-depth research on this point.
