摘　　要：西部民族地区构建培育和践行社会主义核心价值观长效机制是促进民族地区经济社会发展,维护社会稳定和国家统一,增强中华民族文化软实力的需要。面对机遇和挑战,构建长效机制要坚持物质文明建设与精神文明建设;一元主导与多元并存;培育与践行;民族认同与国家认同相结合的原则。Ethnic minority areas construction and the cultivation and practice of socialist core values are the longterm mechanism to promote economic and social development in ethnic minority areas, to maintain social stability and national unity, and to enhance the s＇oft power of national culture. Facing the opportunity and the challenge, building long-term mechanism should adhere to the construction of both material civilization and spiritual civilization construction, the coexistence of a leadership and multi-dimensional, and the principle of combining cultivation and practice, national identity and state identity.
