美南长老会苏北泰州站传教的考察

摘　　要：基督教美南长老会是从清朝末年到解放初期,在苏北地区传教势力最强的差会,而泰州传教站是苏北传教站工作的典型缩影。美南长老会在泰州地区的传教过程分传教站的建立与发展、传教活动、与传统习俗的争较、撤离四个阶段。美南长老会不仅将基督教传进泰州,也将近代西方先进的医学传进泰州,开启了泰州西式医疗之先河,客观上促进了中西文化的交流。American Presbyterians （South） which belongs to the Protestantism is the most powerful missionary commu- nity in the northern part of Jiangsu province from the end of Qing dynasty to early liberation period. For the missionary work, Taizhou missionary station is the typical epitome and organic composition part in the northern part of Jiangsu province. In the paper, the writer took the American Presbyterians （South） in the Taizhou missionary station of northern Jiangsu as the study object. Form the four aspects, the establishment and development of the preach station, preaching ac- tivities, the controversy with the traditional custom and the evacuation, the writer analyzed the historical missionary course of American Presbyterians （South） in Taizhou area under the special social background to hope such study can make the educational circles bring the better study for the church history of northern Jiangsu.
