劳伦斯《菊馨》中女主人公的心路历程剖析

摘　　要：《菊馨》是英国现代派大师劳伦斯的著名短篇小说,故事的时间跨度是从下午四点半到晚上十点,在短短数小时内劳伦斯将伊丽莎白的内心世界刻画得淋漓尽致,彰显了独特的叙事张力和审美张力。将心理探索与社会批判紧密结合构成了小说创作的一个基本特色。深入解读女主人公复杂的心理变化过程,可以加深对故事主题的理解,体会作者对工业文明在扭曲人性和破坏和谐方面所做的无声但犀利的批判。Odor of Chrysanthemums is a famous short story by modernist master Lawrence. The time span of the story is from 4：30-10：00 pm. During these several hours ,Lawrence depicted Elizabeth＇ s psychological changes incisively and vividly and showed a special narrative tension and esthetic tensity. The author combined psychological exploration with social criticism which formed a basic feature for the novel. A deep analysis of the protagonist＇ s psychological changes can deepen our understanding of the theme and help readers know better about the author＇s soundless but sharp criticism on industrialization which distorted human nature and destroyed harmonious relations between people.
