西方儿童文学的动物伦理观述评

摘　　要：纵观西方儿童文学史,动物文学的发展与不断演变的儿童文学体裁休戚相关。除了寓言和童话,动物自传、动物写实小说、动物幻想故事和绘本等文类共同展演出独具西方特色与魅力的生态智慧和伦理态度。鉴于少年儿童的精神生命具有对动物天然的亲和力一说,动物文学又与富有争议的儿童/动物关系相互渗透,彰显西方儿童文学的精彩和趣味。随着当代前沿的理论发展,拟人主义作为一种独特修辞格,成为探讨儿童/动物关系和审视动物伦理观的主要途径。Overviewing the western children ＇s literature,the development of animal stories cannot be independent from the evolving children＇s literature genres,such as fable,fairy tale,animal autobiography,realist wild animal stories,animal fantasy and picturebook. The so- called child / animal bond further accounts for the legitimacy of animal stories.Based on these two inherent traits,this essay works to review the animal ethics as reflected from the rhetorical use of anthropomorphism in the children＇s literature in light of contemporary emergent theoretical discourses.
