摘　　要：在西方大学史上,"教授治校"与中世纪大学自治和现代大学学术自由相伴而生。文章对教授治校的历史发展进行梳理,并结合现代高等教育改革与发展对其合理性进行重新审视与批判,以期对进一步加强和完善我国高校党委领导下的校长负责制、落实教授治学提供思路与借鉴。In the history of western universities, ＂faculty governance＂ is accompanied by the university autonomy in middle ages and the academic freedom of modern universities.This paper systemizes the development history of faculty governance and reexamines and criticizes the rationality combined with the revolution and development of modern high education to provide directions and experience for further strengthening and perfecting the university president accountability under the leadership of Party committee and the implementation of faculty governance.
