美国设计教育之我见  

My View on American Education

摘　　要：自从到美国，先求学后教书，转眼已经过了十五年。如果说教育可以改变人生，我是亲身经历了这个过程。美国的设计教育让我真正理解了设计的内涵，从而改变了我的思维方式和设计方法。先从研究生学习谈起，我读研的学校叫明尼阿波利斯艺术设计学院，简称MCAD，是一所具有百年历史的私立艺术设计学院，坐落在明尼苏达州的明尼阿波利斯市区，在设计圈里有很好的口碑，所以毕业生找工作相对容易。Education can change one＇s life. The writer had experienced American design education from both the student＇s and the professor＇s perspectives. He thought American design education asks students to notice mundane things in their lives but to interpret them in a unique manner. Unique and universal constitute two sides of a coin. If they solve a problem by means of a unique design, they create a market. That＇s why Pink said the MFA is the new MBA.
