摘　　要：根据国内重要文献及相关权威工具书,对节能是不是一门科学、属何种学科、与相关学科有怎样的关系等基础问题进行分析,认为节能已经符合成为科学需要具备的三个基本特征,其发展成为一门科学的趋势难以阻挡;节能属于社会科学同时还属于应用科学,是交叉学科三种类型之一的综合学科;在研究对象、研究方法和理论内容等方面节能与相关学科存在着交集关系,最后对节能领域的学科建设问题进行讨论。According to the domestic important literature and related authoritative reference books,the paper analyzes some basic problems on energy saving and points out that energy saving has shown three basic features of science and the tendency,which irresistibly makes it a science subject. Energy saving is social science,applied science and a comprehensive discipline which belongs to one of three types of cross disciplines. There is an intersection relation between energy saving and related subjects on research objects,research methods and theoretical contents. Finally the problems of discipline construction in energy saving are discussed.
