摘 要:2013年出版的《剑桥高阶英语词典》(第4版)新收录了几百条新词语和新义,合并了第3版的书信写作指导和文章写作指导,改为写作指导。最引人注目的是词语频率标注方法,采用A1、A2、B1、B2、C1和C2标注词语,对应《欧洲语言共同参考框架》中的6个外语学习者的能力等级,表示相应级别学习者的已认知词汇。这种做法是英语学习词典的一种新尝试,对英语教学大纲编写、教学、评估和教材编写会有一定的借鉴作用,对英语学习词典的编纂也会产生一定的影响。但这种词语标注方法也有值得商榷之处。The fourth edition of the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary, published in 2013, contains hundreds of newly added words. "Letter writing" and "Writing essay" in the third edition has been replaced by Focus on Writing in the new edition. One of the noticeable changes in this edition is the method used to label vocabulary frequency: the adoption of symbols A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 in correlation to the six language proficiency levels in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This new method of labeling may serve as a point of reference for English curriculum planning, language teaching, assessment and materials development, and at the same time has some significance for the learner's dictionary compiling. However, there is still some room for further improvement in this method.
