摘　　要：在《围城》中,钱钟书完全解构了"五四"以来作为启蒙的主导力量——所谓精英知识分子的神圣神话,展现了一幅40年代知识分子人格弱化的图景。主要表现在三方面:一是知识分子济世情怀的失落;二是知识分子水平的低下及精神品格的丧失;三是作为启蒙重要成果的女性解放也如同镜花水月。In The Besieged Citx,Qian Zhongshu completely deconstructs the sacred myth of elite intellectuals, who are supposed as a dominant force of enlightenment since the May 4th Movement,he shows a picture of the weakening of the intellectual＇s personality in the 1940＇s,mainly being displayed in three aspects：the intellectuals＇ loss of relief for the social ideal;the intellectuals＇ low levels of knowledge and the loss of their spiritual character;and women＇s liberation,which,as an important result of the enlightenment,is an illusion.
