摘　　要：本文在总结现有大数据研究的基础上,以"2015全国百万同题英文写作"大数据的分析与应用为例,探讨在大数据技术背景下,如何从教学理念、写作目的和教学方式等多个方面,创新大学英语写作教学,提升教学效率和教学质量,进而提升中国学生的英语语言竞争力。In the age of Big Data, EFL teaching, especially the teaching of English writing, meets new challenges and opportunities. Based on a research report of 1,093,126 English writings on the same topic by Chinese EFL learners in 2015, the paper aims to explore how Big Data methodology can help reinvent and reshape the teaching of EFL writing for higher efficiency in teaching, stronger motivation in learning and better competence in applying.
