摘  要:现代媒体技术的发展,改变了中国高校单一的外语教学模式,外语教学呈现多模态发展趋势。理工科研究生英语教学研究改革表明,多模态的研究生英语学术语篇建构教学体现了学生的主体地位和外语学习的交互特点。研究生在建构学术语篇时,需要选择、整合恰当的多模态资源,有效实现从概念意义到人际意义的深化,减少学术失语,增强学术话语权,循序渐进地实现从外语知识建构向外语能力培养的转变,有效提高了研究生的英语综合运用能力和跨文化学术交流能力。The development of modern muhimedia technology has changed the monotonous approach to foreign language teaching and learning in China's higher education, leading to the multimodal innovation in English teaching. Studies and reforms on EFL postgraduate teaching in the University of Science and Technology show that muhimodality- driven academic discourse construction reflects the students" subject status and the interactive characteristics of language learning. Postgraduates should select and employ appropriate muhimodal resources to construct their English discourses, which effectively realize the deepening from ideational meaning to interpersonal meaning, reducing academic aphasia and strengthening academic discourse power. This teaching mode gradually accomplishes the transformation from language knowledge learning to the cuhivation of language abilities, improving postgraduates' English communicative abilities and cross-cultural communicative skills for academic purposes.
