摘 要:逻各斯与努斯是西方科学文化的两个原点,这两个概念随着历史的演进而有所变化:逻各斯导源于注重理论沉思的古希腊文化,努斯导源于注重实践应用的古罗马文化。在前科学时代,逻各斯与努斯相互分离。至文艺复兴时期,逻各斯与努斯的融合推动了近代科学的兴起。启蒙运动确立了逻各斯与努斯在小科学时代的经典形象。随着大科学时代的来临与技术性科学的兴起,逻各斯的中心地位逐步让位于努斯。逻各斯与努斯的历史演进,充分反映了科学文化在不同历史时期呈现的面貌。以科学文化为视角来透视逻各斯与努斯,将丰富人们对逻各斯与努斯的理解。以逻各斯与努斯为原点来透视科学,将从一个全新的视角加深人们对科学及其文化语境的理解。Logos and Nous are two origins of western scientific culture. With the development of western history, they have changed their meanings. Logos derived from ancient Greek culture which emphasized upon theoretical meditation while Nous derived from ancient Rome culture which emphasized upon practical application. In the age of pre-seience, Logos and Nous remained separated. In the age of Renaissance, the integration of Logos and Nous gave birth to the emergence of modern science. The Enlightenment established the ideals of Logos and Nous in the age of small science. With the emergence of the age of big science and tech-science, Logos gradually gave way to Nous. The historical development of Logos and Nous sufficiently reflects the different faces of scientific culture in the different age. To interpret Logos and Nous from the perspective of scientific culture, we could enrich the understanding of the two concepts. At the same time, to interpret the science in terms of Logos and Nous, we could deepen the understanding of science and its cultural context from a totally original perspective.
