摘　　要：从话语意义出发,构建起一个分析跨文化交际误解成因的框架。在这个分析框架中,话语意义主要分为两大类型:言语意义和言语用意。借助这两大意义类型,并结合中国人和美国人之间的汉语话语误解实例,对跨文化交际误解成因进行分析。Starting from discourse meaning, this paper builds a frame to analyze the causes of cross-cultural misunderstanding, in which discourse meaning is divided into two types--sentence meaning and utterance meaning. Through case analysis of Americanspeaking people communicating with Chinese people in Chinese discourses, the possible sources of cross-cultural misunderstanding can be clearly demonstrated with the respective help of sentence meaning and utterance meaning.
