摘　　要：《语体、语类和风格》(Register,Genre and Style)是Douglas Biber和Susan Conrad合写的一部教材。作者认为语体、语类和风格是语篇分析的不同视角,语言特点与情景特点之间存在着对应关系。他们提出的情景分析框架和多维度分析法,为语体研究提供了新的方法。作为剑桥语言学系列教材之一的《语体、语类和风格》,深入浅出,视角独特。在理论阐释的同时,作者还精心设计了课后习题,帮助读者理解语体、语类和风格的理论,掌握多维度分析法。Register, Genre and Style is textbook co-authored by Douglas Biber and Susan Conrad. The authors believe that register, genre and style are different perspectives in analyzing discourses and there is corresponding relation between language features and situational features. The situational analysis frame- work and multi-dimensional analysis proposed by them are the new ways in stylistic study. As one of the Cambridge linguistic textbook, Register, Genre and Style explains profound theories in simple language and has a special angle. With theoretical interpretation and carefully-designed exercises, the book enables readers to understand theories in register, genre and style as well as the multi-dimensional analysis.
