摘　　要：针对地理信息系统理论性和实践性都很强的特点,结合培养新型专业人才的社会需求,文章采用Arc GIS软件开展地理信息系统实践教学。从教学内容优化、增强学生学习兴趣、教学模式、实验组织和考核指标等方面进行探讨,以期有效促进学生对知识的理解和掌握,达到预期的教学效果。For the characteristics of GIS （geographic information system） that both theoretical and practicality are strong, combining with social demand of cultivating new type talents, ArcGIS software is used to carry out the practice teaching of GIS. A series of reform measures to promote students to understand and grasp of knowledge are discussed in this paper to optimize teaching contents, improve teaching methods and achieve the expected teaching effect.
